
Styrelseresa till Silicon Valley 16-18 oktober
Silicon Valley är och har länge varit, världens ledande centrum för teknisk och organisatorisk innovation, samt utveckling av nya affärsmodeller. Eftersom detta är centralt för styrelsearbetet så arrangerar Styrelseakademien en resa till Palo Alto i höst.
Det blir en inspirerande resa med fokus på morgondagens styrelsearbete, och resan varvas med både undervisning och spännande företagsbesök.

Måndag 16 oktober
Vi djupdyker in i ”The Silicon Valley Mindset” dvs. går igenom grundbultarna för hur man som styrelse skapar förutsättningar för innovationsarbete i sina organisationer. Dagen inleds med föreläsningar, och avslutas med företagsbesök där vi gästar stora innovativa bolag.
Denna dag möter du bland andra Dr Annika Steiber, Mike Cassidy, Apollo Fusion, Jake McGee, Plug & Play, Paul Torrey, Amazon och John Hagel, NIH.
Tisdag 17 oktober
Denna dag tar vi oss an tech – hur ny teknik påverkar bolags affärsmodeller. Hur ny teknik styr utvecklingen och varför det är så viktigt att ligga i framkant. Denna dag gästar vi nyckelaktörer med koll på ny teknik och dess effekt på dagens och framtidens affärsmodeller. Du möter bland andra Gopi Kallayil, Google, Denise Persson, Snowflake och Adrian Otto, Google. Dagen avslutas med en gemensam middag.
Onsdag 18 oktober
Sista dagen ägnar vi åt styrelsearbete som helhet. Vi får en inblick i hur styrelseproffs i Silicon Valley arbetar med att styra och utveckla sina bolag. Dagen varvas med föreläsningar samt besök av ett par styrelseproffs som berättar mer handgripligen hur de arbetar i styrelserummen. Under onsdagen möter du bland andra Jan Uddenfeldt, jUTechnology LLC och Per Edin.
Torsdag 19 oktober
Hemresa alternativt en gemensam resa till en vingård för vinprovning och fortsatt nätverkande. Ange intresse vid anmälan så återkommer vi med separat prisförslag.

Mike has been the Co-Founder and CEO of five start-ups: Apollo Fusion, Ruba, Xfire, Direct Hit, and Stylus Innovation. Apollo Fusion designed and built a type of ion thruster for space propulsion and was acquired by Astra for $150 million.Mike was previously a Vice President at Google and was the Project Leader for 5 years of GoogleX Project Loon (balloon-powered Internet for everyone).

John Hagel
John has spent over 40 years in Silicon Valley and has experience as a management consultant, entrepreneur, speaker and author. He is driven by a desire to help individuals and institutions around the world to increase their impact in a rapidly changing world. After recently retiring as a partner from Deloitte, McGraw Hill will be publishing in May John’s new book, The Journey Beyond Fear, that addresses the psychology of change and he is developing a series of programs to help people navigate through change at many levels. John has founded a new company, Beyond Our Edge, LLC, that works with companies and people who are seeking to anticipate the future and achieve much greater impact.John has spoken at a wide variety of leading conferences including the Davos Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum and the TED conference.

Gopi Kallayil
Gopi is the Chief Evangelist, Digital Transformation and Strategy at Google. He works with Google’s sales teams and customers and helps grow customer brands through digital marketing. In his prior roles he worked as Chief Evangelist for Google+, led the marketing team for the Company's flagship advertising product, AdWords, in the Americas and Asia Pacific, and the marketing team for AdSense, Google's publisher-facing product. Lars E Johansson

An Iranian American immigrant and a 40-year veteran of the communications industry, is currently the Founding Managing Partner at Candou Ventures. As an entrepreneur Faraj has raised several hundred million dollars for his semiconductor companies from private and public investors, executed several M&A deals and as CEO taken two previous start-ups, Centillium and Aquantia through IPO. His last IPO, Aquantia, was acquired by Marvell Semiconductors where Faraj stayed on as Executive VP in charge of Marvell’s Networking and Automotive businesses, a billion dollar revenue segment and the largest business at Marvell.

Ulf is responsible for the ISV Partner Strategy within the SAP team at AWS. He focuses on bringing customers more value from their SAP investment through AWS innovation technologies. Ulf is a seasoned technology executive with more than 20 years of experience from technology consulting, enterprise analytics and enterprise product development. Prior to joining AWS, Ulf co-founded and served as CTO for Biswise, an SAP and Celonis consulting partner in the Nordics.
