Agneta Franksson

Agneta Franksson has more than 20 years of experience in roles as business and product developer. She has worked as CEO, Sales Director, Consultant, Technical Support Manager and Research and Development Engineer. The industries in which she has been professionally active have included Life Science, Medical Technology, Healthcare Services, Energy, Telecom and IT.

Since 2012, she has worked on some 20 different boards, mainly as chairman of the board. She has worked on behalf of Almi Invest and Industrifonden, as chairman of the board of their portfolio companies. Agneta has also worked as chairman of a listed company. Additional experience comes from chairmen of family-run companies, a foundation and in non-profit sports organization. For a year, she started up active board work in an owner-managed company that was later able to make a successful exit. She is a certified board member and has attended most of StyrelseAkademien's courses. In 2016, as chairman of the board of a Malmö-based company, she became the winner of this year's Supergasell Prize (Dagens Industri).

On the boards she works on, she is happy to help and drive the strategic work and subsequent business development work. Her many years of experience is that the necessary pieces of the puzzle come into place in these processes.

Agneta holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Medical Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology and an MBA from Uppsala University. Agneta is since 2019 an accredited teacher for the board education Rätt fokus SME, Effective Company Directorship he holds the education in Swedish and English.

May 2023: Works as chairman of the board of Specialplast Wensbo AB, board member of AI Medical Technology AIM AB and as interim CEO of a medical technology company. More info on LinkedIn
